A synonym for freedom is a woman

The scene and detail in Ivana Živić’s oeuvre are the basis for a surreal story, that is, she transfers us daily into the unusual… using a multitude of finesse. The swimmers are separated from the background, gracefully cutting the tissue of the image, immersing, floating and moving, creating the illusion of water. The figures are lonely, stopped in these imaginary spaces, the sumptuous scenery of unusual buildings, but also the ruined spaces and staircases. That is how they exist – while exploring their own inner world.
